Who We Are
Birth, Baby! Academy was founded by Ciarra Morgan and Samantha Kelly, birth workers in Central Texas. Ciarra is a birth and postpartum doula, HypnoBirthing educator, and pediatric sleep consultant. Samantha is a birth doula, childbirth educator, and lactation counselor. Together they own Empowered Beginnings, a doula agency that provides services to parents across Central Texas. They also created and cohost the popular Birth, Baby! Podcast. With the experience of owning their business, serving their doula clients, educating parents, and mentoring budding birth doulas, they were inspired to create a program that serves birth workers. Birth, Baby! Academy is a platform for birth workers to expand their understanding of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.

Our mission is to empower compassionate individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support expectant families through the transformative journey of childbirth. Through our comprehensive birth doula training program, we aspire to cultivate a community of dedicated birth companions who embrace diversity, uphold dignity, and provide unwavering support to birthing individuals and their families.
Our vision encompasses fostering a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of childbirth, enabling our graduates to offer holistic care that respects individual choices and promotes positive birth experiences. By championing evidence-based practices, fostering empathetic communication, and advocating for informed decision-making, we envision our birth doula training program as a beacon of excellence in the field, enriching the lives of families and shaping the future of childbirth support worldwide.
